A transfer code, also «Auth-Code», is required to safely transfer your domain from one registrar to another.
It serves like a single-use password and should be treated confidential by both involved registrars and the owner of the domain.
A transfer code usually consists of a combination from big and small letters as well as numbers and special characters.

Please note that a transfer code can only be used to switch between two registrars. If you wish to transfer a domain contract to another holder, a change of ownership must be done.
