You should be very cautious about using out-of-office messages or other automatic response features with the destination address.
In many cases, these use the same addresses as E-Mail software to send replies and would therefore reveal the recipient’s address otherwise concealed by Domain Privacy forwarding. To be on the safe side, avoid using automatic responses and messages with the destination mailbox.
If you would still like to use the automatic response feature, test it out first together with your Domain Privacy forwarding configuration. Please note that the results may differ depending on the technical attributes of the test message and that the software used to create your automatic responses may behave differently without you being aware of it.
