The full version of Sites provides you with an artificial intelligence (AI) feature that you can use to automatically generate text for your website. In this article, we’d like to briefly introduce you to this feature and show you what you need to bear in mind when using it.
Where can I find the AI feature?
You’ll find the AI feature directly in the Sites editor. Just click on a section of text on one of your pages. The AI icon will then appear in the menu with the formatting options.
How do I use the AI feature?
Enter the industry relevant to your website (e.g. gym or restaurant) and briefly describe the type of text you need in the “Topic” field. Then select the desired tonality and the number of paragraphs. The generated text will be displayed to you and inserted on the page.
What needs to be considered when using this feature?
- You must accept the disclaimer and the terms of use to use this feature. The AI used is ChatGPT from OpenAI.
- Only new texts can be generated. It is not possible to revise existing texts.
- For multilingual websites, the texts are automatically generated in the language currently selected for editing. If you need texts in another language, you will have to open the page in the desired language in the menu on the left.
- For German-language websites, the AI uses Standard High German. This means that the generated texts follow the rules of Standard High German, including the use of the Eszett (ß). If your website is aimed at a Swiss audience, it’s worth checking the text that is generated and then adapting it.
