BackWPup is probably one of the best known backup plug-ins for WordPress.

With BackWPup, backups can be stored not only on the server, but also in the cloud. Connections for Dropbox, Microsoft Azure or Google Drive are already integrated.
By cronjob
Of course, you can also secure your websites with an automated Cronjob.
To do so, you'll need a script which is executed at recurring times.
