If you do not have your mobile phone on you to receive the code from the application or via SMS, your only option is to deactivate two-factor authentication.

Log into the Control Panel with your Hostpoint ID and password until you get to the entry for two-factor authentication.

Underneath the blue “Log in” button, select the link “I’m having problems logging in...” for additional help. Then select “I don’t have my mobile phone on me or I have lost my phone” and follow the instructions:

Deactivation works as follows:

  • We will send you a deactivation code by post
  • The letter with the deactivation code will be sent to your billing address
  • As soon as you enter the deactivation code, two-factor authentication is disabled and all you need to log in again is your Hostpoint ID password
