With the “Exit Clicks” report, you can track which pages your visitors visit after your website. For this, you have to integrate a code snippet into your website.
To integrate the code, proceed as follows:
- Copy the JavaScript code that you can find in the profile configuration under “Reporting” > “Exit Clicks”.
- Integrate the code snippet on the desired pages in the header (
<head>...</head>).
Note: If you have a file for the header or footer that is included in every page, you only need to include the tracking code in one of the two files.
If you are working with a CMS: With most CMSs, the tracking code is entered directly into the template or in a predefined location in the backend of the CMS. Consult the instructions of your CMS for the correct placement.
