You have a Domain Shield?
If you have a Domain Shield for the domain and the data protection trustee service is activated, the option must first be deactivated or cancelled. Only then can you request a transfer code for the domain according to the instructions above.
You can deactivate the Domain Shield in domain management.
The Domain Shield is canceled in the same way as all contracts.
You don't have a Hostpoint ID?
You can also request the transfer code in writing. For that, the signature of the contract holder or an authorized person is necessary. The required form can be requested from our accounting department (billing@hostpoint.ch). The transfer code will then be sent to the e-mail address written on the form.
Alternatively, you can also create a Hostpoint ID and request the transfer code directly in the Hostpoint Control Panel. To create a Hostpoint ID, follow these instructions.
Transfer codes requested in the Hostpoint Control Panel are usually sent immediately. For some domain endings, the transfer codes cannot be generated automatically. These transfer codes will be sent within a few hours during office hours. The same applies to transfer codes requested using the form.
