To get a transfercode for your domain, you have to cancel the domainname with us as your registrar.

With your Hostpoint ID you can cancel the contract of your domain in the control panel under "Admin" - "Contracts" - "Details" and check the option "I like to receive a transfer code for this domain". The domain will be automatically terminated on the next possible date.

Please note that the invoice for the corresponding domain must be paid so that we can send you the transfer code.

You have a Domain Shield?

If you have a Domain Shield for the domain in question and the "Domain Shield - Data Protection" is activated, the option must first be deactivated before you can request a transfer code for the domain.

You can then return to your contracts ("Admin" > "Contracts"), cancel the domain's subscription and activate the option "I need a transfer code for this domain".

You don't have a Hostpoint ID?

You can also request the transfer code in writing with your signature. The required form can be requested from our accounting department (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). The transfer code will be sent to the e-mail address written on the form.

Alternatively, you can also create a Hostpoint ID and request the transfer code directly in the Control Panel.

The transfer codes requested in the Control Panel are usually sent immediately. For some domain endings, the transfer codes cannot be generated automatically. These transfer codes, as well as those requested using the form, will be sent within a few hours during office hours.
