You can give another person access to a Cloud Office group in the Hostpoint Control Panel. This is useful if you want a third party to manage your e-mail addresses.
If the Cloud Office group is assigned to a web hosting account, all you need to do is grant an access right for web hosting. In this case, the authorized person will have access to your web hosting account and all associated Cloud Office groups.
If the Cloud Office group is not linked to a web hosting account, you must grant a separate access right.
Follow these steps:
- Log into the Hostpoint Control Panel with your Hostpoint ID.
- Click “Admin” on the menu at the top.
- In the menu on the left, click on “Hostpoint ID” > “Cloud Office group access”.
- Click on “Give access to a Cloud Office group”.
- Select the Cloud Office group for which you would like to assign an access right.
- Enter the Hostpoint ID of the person you want to give access to and click the “Save” button.
Note: if the person does not already have a Hostpoint ID, they can create one here.
→ The access right has been created. The person will be informed by e-mail that they have been given access.
