Am I required to have a Hostpoint ID?

Yes, because only with a Hostpoint ID can you manage invoices, payment methods and authorised representatives for your various services online in the Hostpoint Control Panel. Furthermore, you can additionally secure access with your Hostpoint ID using two-factor authentication.

If you place an order as a new customer, a Hostpoint ID will be generated automatically from your e-mail address.

If you are already a Hostpoint customer but do not yet have a Hostpoint ID, you can create one for yourself. You can find instructions on how to do this here: How do I create a Hostpoint ID?

As a webmaster or technical contact, you can simply create a Hostpoint ID. This allows you to accept authorisation and thus conveniently manage the various products of your customers with one login.
