Allowing all international logins
If you attempt to connect via FTP from a country that is not on the above list, follow these instructions:
- Log in to the Hostpoint Control Panel with your Hostpoint ID.
- Open your web hosting.
- Click on “Advanced” > “FTP” > “Settings”.
- Enable the option “Allow international FTP access (reduced security)”.
This setting will expire in 3 months, but the expiry date will reset on successful logins from countries that are not allowed by default. You can deactivate this option manually at any time.
