If the owner of a domain name has activated the domain misuse protection (in the Hostpoint Control Panel under «Domains»), he can enter one (up to two with Domain Guard Pro) person as a trusted third party. This person will be informed when a change to the domain name is requested. They can then either approve or reject the change request.
If a change to the domain name is confirmed by the trusted third party(s), it is executed immediately. If this is rejected, however, the task will be deleted.
With domain misuse protection, a change is executed after 7 days if the trusted third party does not respond to the change request.
With Domain Guard Pro, all trusted third parties must agree to the change, otherwise it will not be executed.
