With your Hostpoint ID
You can cancel Domain Shield with your Hostpoint ID directly in the Hostpoint Control Panel under «Admin» > «Contracts».
An immediate cancellation is possible, but any fees that you have paid will not be refunded.
Warning: Important: If domain misuse protection (Domain Guard) is enabled, authorized persons must be removed before cancellation. However, they must agree to the removal.
By e-mail or mail
You can also cancel Domain Shield in writing by e-mail or mail. In this case, the signature of the owner is required.
Info: Note: If you cancel a domain that Domain Shield is enabled for, the Domain Shield will be canceled automatically.
