Canceling a domain is one of the changes for which domain misuse protection (Domain Guard) requires approval. This is to protect you against the undesired loss of your domain name. For this reason, all authorized persons must approve your cancellation request before your domain can ultimately be canceled.

Procedure for cancellation with domain misuse protection

  1. Create request: You cancel the domain.
  2. Submit request:  The request is sent to the authorized persons per e-mail.
  3. Answer: The authorized persons approve or reject the request.
