In the Hostpoint Control Panel (with web hosting package)
To change the password for an e-mail address, follow these steps:
- Log in to the Hostpoint Control Panel with your Hostpoint ID.
- Open your web hosting account.
- Click on “E-mail” in the menu on the left.
→ The overview shows all e-mail addresses that you have created. - Click on “Edit” next to the desired e-mail address.
- Now click on “Password & security” and then on “Edit” next to “Change your password now”.
→ The “Change password for e-mail” window opens. - Enter the new password and confirm it.
- Click on “Save”.
→ The password has been changed.
In the Hostpoint Control Panel (with E-mail & Cloud Office package)
To change the password for an e-mail address, follow these steps:
- Log in to the Hostpoint Control Panel with your Hostpoint ID.
- Open “E-mail & Cloud Office”.
→ The overview shows all e-mail addresses that you have created. - Click on “Edit” next to the desired e-mail address.
- Now click on “Password & security” and then on “Edit” next to “Change your password now”.
→ The “Change password for e-mail” window opens. - Enter the new password and confirm it.
- Click on “Save”.
→ The password has been changed.
In Cloud Office
To change the password for an e-mail address, follow these steps:
- Log in to Cloud Office with your e-mail address and the corresponding password.
- Click on the gear icon at the top right and select “Settings”.
- Click on “Mail” > “Password” in the menu on the left.
- Enter the current password of your e-mail address.
- Enter the new password and confirm it.
- Click on “Save”.
→ The password has been changed. You will be logget out automatically and will have to log in again.
